The "Kake-hashi(bridge)" between our customers and blueberries.
Why did we build a farm in the mountains at an altitude of 500 meters?
The blueberry season is from June to August, in mid-summer. Unlike strawberry picking, which is in season during the cold season, blueberry picking at our farm is done under the blazing sun in mid-summer. During that season, Nagoya experiences extremely hot days with temperatures exceeding 30℃ every day, and blueberry picking is usually enjoyed in such intense heat.
For small children and the elderly, picking blueberries under the blazing sun is a real challenge. Even the most delicious blueberries cannot be enjoyed in the heat.
Freshly picked blueberries are very tasty and completely different from imported or frozen blueberries. We want to create a farm where people can enjoy the best blueberries in comfort.
With this in mind, we decided to establish a farm in Kobata-cho, Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture, which is located at an altitude of 500 meters above sea level.
It takes about 50 minutes by car from the Nagakute IC. But we are sure that you will be glad you made the 50-minute drive to come here! We are sure you will be glad you made the 50-minute drive.
The town is located at an altitude of 500 meters, at an altitude of minus 4 degrees Celsius below Nagoya, and is a summer resort in the middle of summer! At "Blueberry Farm Toyota Kakelabo," a day trip resort from Nagoya, you can forget the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy the best blueberries in a comfortable environment full of nature for an unlimited amount of time. We invite you to come and check it out.
The name of the farm, "Kakelabo," is based on the hope that visitors will create many happy summer memories with their families and that the farm will serve as a "Kake-hashi(bridge)" to deepen the bonds between everyone who visits.
